By accepting a cake quote and paying a deposit, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions.
* DEPOSIT INFORMATION
A 50% deposit (via cash or bank transfer) is required to confirm a booking. Please note we do NOT accept cheques nor do we have eftpos facilities. No order will commence until a deposit has been paid & received. Once the deposit has been paid, the quoted price remains fixed to the details in the quote.
* CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS If a cancellation is received and it is more than 4 weeks prior to the agreed completion date your deposit will be refunded less a $20 administration fee. If custom made items have been purchased (eg acrylic toppers) or made, the price of these will be deducted from your deposit amount and the balance refunded.
If an order is cancelled within 14 days prior to the event date, then the full deposit will be forfeited.
* PHOTOGRAPHS
We reserve the right to take and use photographs of your creations, before, during and after set up, to use for marketing, advertising, and promotional purposes.
* COLLECTION & STORAGE
Tiered cakes and novelty cakes are taller than most cake boxes and will be given to you in an open top box. Cakes are fragile and it is important that you drive carefully with the cake placed on a flat surface or supported by a passenger. DO NOT place the cake on the car seat.
Cakes covered in fondant or that have edible cake toppers should be stored in cool place and away from direct sunlight to prevent discolouration/fading. These cakes should not be refrigerated as this will cause the colours in the icing to run due to condensation. Keep cakes/ cupcakes in an air-conditioned room where possible.
Please note that we cannot accept responsibility for loss or damage to products once they have been collected.
* SET UP & DELIVERY
Delivery is available and calculated based on distance. If you require delivery and setup, the following need to be available:
-easy access to the venue eg: convenient parking, lifts
- a suitable cake table must be set up and ready for the cake upon arrival
-the venue must be at a suitable temperature (an air conditioned room is best)
Please note that we cannot accept responsibility for loss or damages to the product after delivery.
* ALLERGIES
It is possible that products may come into contact with nuts, soy, milk, wheat and other items that cause allergic reactions. It is the responsibility of the client to inform their guests of this possibility.
